Welcome to Streetsbrook Infant and Early Years Academy School’s PTA (Parent Teacher Association) page. 

We are passionate about supporting the school through a range of fund raising activities in order to improve resources and help enrich the children’s experience during their time at Streetsbrook. 

PTA funds have supported the School to purchase: 

• Bowls for dinner time
• Donkeys & Ice cream when the Year 1 children visit Weston Super Mare
• Year 2 leavers teddy bears
• Refreshments for our reading cafés

Funding has also been used to buy resources and materials for refurbishments our Site Manager has made; this includes the lovely sandpit in Childcare and some of the developments in The Nest.

Future projects and plans that we hope to fund: 

• Updating reading resources
• Redevelopment of the front playground
• £100 wish-list for each class 

Events: 

Our exciting events are a fantastic, fun way to get involved with our school. We rely on parent support so please sign up to help. 

This year the children enjoyed the EYFS magic show and the Bright Sparks disco. They also had a magical time at the Christmas fair and enjoyed a visit from the Easter Bunny.  Parents and staff got competitive at the quiz night too. All of these events were organised by your PTA.

• Rags to Riches: 10th May 2024
• Summer Fair: 5th July 2024

How you can help: 

• Please sign yourself up for a stall at the Summer Fair
• Donation for our toy tombola/ bottle stall
• Do you know anyone that could donate a prize for our raffle or sponsor the event?

Our next PTA meeting will be held on Thursday 3 November 2022 at 2.00 pm at school.  We would love to see existing and new members.  With lots of exciting events to be held over the Autumn term, we really do need more members to help these events run.  Unfortunately, without enough help, events may not take place, so if you can help out in any way, please do contact us.
