The CLD, Autism and SEMH teams support children from the Spring Term of their Reception year to the end of Year 2. A linked teacher is allocated to us from each team and the school work closely with the link teacher to plan the allocated time effectively to meet the needs of the children.
The link teacher will work with your child to understand their needs and make recommendations which may include:
At the time of writing, the school receives 12 hours of support each term from the CLD Team and 12 hours of support each term from the SEMH Team. The Autism Team only work with children who have a diagnosis of Autism. Currently, we benefit from regular visits from our link teacher from this team.
The school also works with the Early Years Support and Assessment (EYSAT) Team, which currently supports children in Childcare, Nursery and in the Autumn Term of Reception.
In addition, Streetsbrook is committed to working with a range of external professionals including Speech & Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Occupation Health Therapists, Visual Impairment Teachers, Physical Impairment Advisors, School Nurses and Health Visitors.
